The scope starts with everything in our deep cleaning, then adds the areas only an empty home lets us reach: inside every cabinet, closet shelves, pantry shelves, the inside of the refrigerator and oven, and a sweep of the garage.

Think of a moving clean as a deep clean with the doors open. We work top to bottom through every room, then go inside the storage spaces that are normally full of your belongings. Every moving clean is documented with before and after photos stored in our system, so you have a record for a landlord, buyer or your own peace of mind. If something was missed, contact us within 24 hours with details and photos and a team will come back to re-clean that area. Move-Out vs. Move-In: Same Checklist, Different Goals
The work is the same either way, but the reason behind it changes what matters most to you.
Moving out
Tenants usually care about the deposit walk-through. Property owners care about the next showing or the buyer’s final walk. We focus on the spots inspectors open first: kitchen cabinets, the oven, the refrigerator, bathroom vanities and closet shelves. Schedule the clean after the movers leave, not before, so nothing gets tracked back in.
Moving in
A house can look fine on a tour and still hold the previous owner’s dust in every drawer. Booking before you unpack means your dishes go onto shelves that have actually been wiped and disinfected, and your clothes go into closets that have been cleaned rather than just emptied.
Room by Room
- Kitchen: sinks and countertops scrubbed and disinfected, cabinet doors wiped outside and in, pantry shelves, inside the microwave, inside the refrigerator and oven, appliance exteriors.
- Bathrooms: shower, tub, toilet, sinks and counters scrubbed and disinfected, mirrors cleaned, fixtures polished, cabinets wiped inside.
- Bedrooms and living areas: vents, ceiling fans and light fixtures dusted, cobwebs removed, baseboards, doors and door frames wiped, closet shelves cleaned, light switches and door handles disinfected.
- Floors: carpets vacuumed, hard floors vacuumed and mopped once the rooms are clear.
- Garage: swept.
How to Get the House Ready
- Keep the water, electricity and air conditioning on. In a Houston summer, a house with no working HVAC is not safe for our team to clean.
- Empty the cabinets, closets and appliances. We can only clean inside spaces that are clear of personal items.
- Have trash, moving boxes and leftover debris hauled away first. We bag loose trash and leave it in the garage or bins, but we do not remove it from the property.
- Arrange access (lockbox, code or key) and turn off the alarm for the day.
Not completely empty yet? Call us. We can often work around a few items as long as we know ahead of time.
Honest Limits
We do not clean inside dishwashers, washers or dryers, window tracks or sliding door tracks, or anything beyond the reach of a 2-step ladder, and we cannot move items heavier than 25 pounds. Mold, peeling paint, extreme buildup and pest problems are outside our scope. North Houston water is hard, and years of mineral deposits on glass shower doors and fixtures may not come off completely; we will do our best and tell you what to expect.
